Student Testimonials

"The Oakhill drive sport system has really helped me with my overall sport skills a lot. From simple things like throwing and catching, to more complex games, it has helped me develop skills that make playing other sports way easier. Not only that but the teamwork too, being teammates one week to enemies the next, it really helps with bonding and getting to know each other. On Fridays, we do ISS (Inter School Sport) which is where we compete against other schools in specific sports, like soccer, basketball and cricket to name a few. This is where we can actually be competitive and give it our all to win. Overall, the Oakhill drive sport system is amazing and really helps with your skills." Jalen Z 6P

"Oakhill Drive gives students opportunities like no other schools, especially in sports and leadership activities. This school has competed in ISS (Inter School Sport) every year, and in each year, at least one of the teams would make it to the finals, for example my team-the softball girls. Getting my leadership badge was the best part. From day one, you get to do amazing and unique activities such as answering phones in the office, and hosting assemblies on a regular basis. There is always something new and exciting waiting for you to explore every year. ODPS is a school that provides excellent activities that I will never forget." Josie C 6P

"During my years at Oakhill Drive Public School, sports made me feel like I truly belonged. With events like the athletics carnival, cross country, swimming carnival, class sports, and both summer and winter sports, I’ve enjoyed every sports experience and will always cherish these moments at this athletic school. Unlike other schools, ODPS gave me the chance and space to unleash my potential across so many sports, allowing me to perform my best when competing on the field." Aiden R 5/6K

"My year 3 teacher has truly inspired myself and many other students to join the Oak Hill Drive public school dance troupe. This dance troupe has given me the chance to enjoy dancing on stage and performing in front of an audience. Before I joined the dance troupe, I was a person with no talents in anything. I couldn't impress anyone. Although a couple of years later I met the dance troupe, and it was this team that made me a true and talented dancer. If it wasn't for the Oak Hill Dr public school dance troupe then I wouldn't have the courage to do anything new at all." Emily B 4C

Parent Testimonials

"From the moment we walked into Oakhill Drive Public School, we knew it was the right place for our children. The teachers are incredibly nurturing and encouraging, guiding each child with genuine care and helping them grow in confidence and curiosity. The beautiful grounds create such a calm, inspiring environment for learning and play, and our kids have absolutely thrived there. We are so grateful to be part of such a dedicated, compassionate school community. Oakhill Drive has set a foundation for our children that we know will stay with them for years to come." Cope Family

"Oakhill Drive is a wonderful school that strives to develop well rounded students so they can make a positive contribution to their community. The teachers at ODPS have a great rapport with students and do an amazing job teaching subjects across the curriculum. They also go above and beyond by providing a broad range of programs and extracurricular activities including dance groups, choir, bands and ensembles, individual and competitive sports teams, the Eco Club and many more. We have seen many successes from students across all programs with the opportunities that ODPS has to offer, as well as excellent results academically, which is reflected in NAPLAN and OC test results. ODPS has beautifully kept playgrounds with fun equipment for the children to enjoy. There are also many opportunities for parents and carers to be involved in community events and volunteering at the school which I highly recommend. My daughter has been at the school for four years now and has loved every class and teacher she has had, developed strong relationships with her peers and is continuing to grow in her learning every day."
